Retail Manager
It is exciting times for Dive Zone Tauranga as we move into new premises this October. We are looking for a full time retail manager to join our team.
Whilst this is predominantly a shop based role we are looking for someone who has a passion for diving and is ideally certified to at least PADI Divemaster or equivalent, previous instructing experience would be beneficial.
Previous retail experience is essential as you will be responsible for maintaining the retail space by creating shop displays and replenishing stock floor as required. Receiving , ordering and maintaining stock levels, implementing in store and online retail promotions as well as providing an exceptional customer experience for all customers including those booking on dive courses and dive trips both instore and online.
We are seeking someone who has a creative flair who will take pride and ownership in the presentation of our retail store. Good IT, customer service and sales skills will be essential in this role. Experience with social media would also be beneficial.
There will be opportunities for diving too, either instructing or leading dives from time to time.

Dive Instructor / Retail Assistant
We will be looking for PADI Certified Dive Instructors to join our team for the upcoming summer season.
We are looking for people who can learn quickly on the job and are willing to get involved and help out where ever is needed, for example unloading dive gear, filling tanks ( air fillers cert to be completed during work hours), receiving and putting away retail stock and providing an exceptional dive experience to all of our customers.
You will bring a passion for diving and the enthusiasm to share it with others and will enjoying being part of a vibrant young team of dive professionals.
Candidates must have a valid full NZ drivers license and a valid permit to work in New Zealand. Job offer will be subject to successful candidate being able to secure a Work Safe Certificate of Competency.
