The meaning of Lake Rotoma is Lake of exceptionally clear water. It is one of our main training dive sites. This is where most of our new divers experience open water diving for the first time. 
Lake Rotoma provides us with a safe shore entry and calm conditions which makes it perfect for new divers. Once our divers have their buoyancy sorted and are ready to explore, we go and check out the famous Lake Rotoma ship wreck which is home to many fresh water Koura (Crayfish).
