Starting at Cherry Island Taupo our adventure begins with a thrilling drift snorkel down the Waikato River, stopping for a soak at the natural Thermal pools at Spa Park and finishing at Reids Farm. From here we head back to Cherry Island kit up into our Scuba Gear and do it all again. This is sure to be a fun dive and you will gain your PADI Drift Specialty 

We meet at Dive Zone Tauranga at 7:30am to complete the necessary pre-dive registration & to arrange any rental gear requirements that you may have and travel to Taupo in a DIve Zone vehicle. 

IMPORTANT:  
Bookings and prepayment are essential for all trips. We reserve the right to pick alternative dive sites if the conditions do not allow us to safely dive. Trip payments may be transferred or refunded only if adverse weather requires us to cancel the trip completely.
Use of your own wetsuit, BCD &/or regulators is subject to a safety inspection prior to departure.  If you would like to use your own BCD, you must be equipped with a visual signalling device (safety sausage or similar), an audible signalling device (whistle) & a dive knife or line cutting tool.  Your BCD/regs must also contain an alternate air source (octi).
We reserve the right to refuse use of any equipment that does not meet our inspection standards in the interest of your safety.

Covid-19 Vaccination Policy
It is Dive Zone Taurangas policy that we require anyone undertaking training or registering with us for a trip to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19
We are taking this stance to not only protect our staff and customers but to do our bit in limiting the spread of the virus.
The long-term effects of Covid-19 and ‘long Covid’ on the respiratory system can pose a serious threat that can be detrimental to divers and while we respect other people’s decision, we do not wish to subject our staff and customers to any unnecessary risk.
If you enroll on a course, know that all our instructors and staff will be double vaccinated for both your and their safety and wellbeing.
We will require proof of vaccination from customers enrolled on courses and trips from 1 December 2021
